We produce enough to feed the nation, yet millions go hungry or survive on poor diets. The problem, as Professor Richmond N. O. Aryeetey of the University of Ghana revealed in his 2025 inaugural lecture at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences (GAAS), is not scarcity — it is inequality, weak governance, and a fragmented food system.
